Prostate enlargement controlled by diet and exercise?

A non cancerous condition in which the narrowing of the urethra makes it difficult for the urine to pass, is called prostate enlargement. Regular exercises have also been proved to reduce the enlargement of the prostate gland to a large extent. Men who exercise regularly have an improved overall immunity of the body which in turn helps to prevent the enlargement of the prostate gland. It has also been found that men who are physically active had a reduced risk of prostate cancer. Also men who were engaged in metabolic equivalent tasks to three or more hours a week like playing tennis, jogging or swimming had thirty five percent lower risk of prostate enlargement. Vigorous running on a regular basis also helps to lower chances of encountering prostate enlargement disease to a large extent.
